Zillow repeatedly called me over a year period promising how much money I would make with their premier agent program I eventually signed up for $4k a month in a luxury market I work after relentless calls, emails, and promises As soon as they got my credit card, they were gone ZERO leads came in the first days so I tried to cancel No surprise, the salesman, managers, and everyone else just disappeared completely The one conversation I was "allowed" to have about canceling was with some inexperienced sales manager and the talks quickly turned adversarial and unprofessional on his part The best part when was he said he had to go and forgot to hang up the phone :) I sat there and listened to him talk about sales practices with clients like me and say "this is how you handle guys like this""Just take them in circles until they are tired of arguing", "Don't worry, you will still get paid" he said to another as they left the room laughing He seemed very proud of what he
On 6/21/2018, I notified Zillow Group that someone using the Zillow username *** and the name *** *** had fraudulently taken control of my rental real estate listing located at *** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** Originally, my listing was received by Zillow through a syndication from the Multiple Listing Service I immediately notified Zillow via their "report a problem with listing" feature om their websiteI waited hours however I did not receive a responseI then called Zillow Group Sales (because they do not offer phone support for listings) and asked if there was any way to speak with someone in support or customer serviceI spoke with a very nice guy by the name of Tepkosal who took down my informationEven after providing him a screen shot of the listing agreement with the owner of the home to show I was the rightful real estate agent, he unfortunately was not equipped with the tools and information in order to immediately solve the fraudul
Zillow marketplace advertised for agent to sign up and promised the realtors leads per month in a zip code you sign upYou have to sign a contract for monthAfter month I got leads and after month I told I will not continue because they do not supply the merchandise as they promisedThey did not answered any calls, any emails and they refused to talk to me about the promise they madeMy broker was present at the business meeting we had on the phoneI don't know with how many people they did it alreadyOn the end I got leads in month what not even covered a third what they promisedRevdex.com should know about the tactics they usingI spend willing $for month to give Zillow a chanceBut I refused to pay another month for a merchandiser, who did not supplied the merchandise as promised
I have months to sell my homeI updated my information on Zillow for my house and submitted it to be posted for sale by ownerI got a message saying it would post within hoursIt has been over a week now and it still has not postedI need my house posted asap because I have to move in less than monthsWhat is the hold up? I tried emailing and calling but there customer service is really non-existentThey have it set up to act like the have a customer service department, but they never email back and no one answers the phone and they say to leave a message but the voicemail is always fullThis is a joke of a company
I am the owner of ** *** *** that owns and operates over propertiesCurrently, I have listings on Zillow On 8/8/I was unable to log into my accountAfter several unsuccessful attempts, I've sent emails since 8/8/17, in one week about my account being disabledI've yet to hear from anyone so that this matter can be resolved,This past week, I have noticed a large decrease in profits and due to not being able to market new listings and update current listingsThis is an enormous problem that's effecting the growth and consistency of ** ***
This company charged $for advertising and lead generation I received none of these and this company refused to refund me They gave me a partial refund and took $of my money even though they never delivered anything they said they would
On Zillow's website the description of my house is incorrect; it has been change by someone other than me It shows that we are a two unit rental which we are not This fall I contacted Zillow by e-mail but all I got back were general information articles that didn't quite fit my situation I have tried to call them at their customer service number 206-470-several times only to get an answering machine and never getting a call back I believe this problem could be easily resolved if a real person would talk to me The house is not currently for sale but I would still like to see this error corrected
We recently purchased our new home, and though it has been removed from the MLS, Zillow continues to show this home on their siteWe as owners have repeatedly asked them to remove it but they refuse to do soMany other sites had this listing but once we asked them to remove it, it was done promptlyThis is a violation of my privacy - posting all the details about my home including pictures! This home is not on the market, there is no reason for this to be on their siteThey claim this is transparency to the public - the public does not need to see my home or get info about my home, they can go elsewhereI own other properties and we have friends who own properties that is not on this sleazy website, but for some reason, it has been next to impossible to remove this particular listing
I purchased a beach home in Emerald Isle, North Carolina and closed on 5/ I bought the house based on a listing I found on Zillow When I closed Zillow deleted the actual listing They now do not reflect the sell of the home which is extremely important to determine the true value of the home and their estimate is way below what I paid, so in my opinion they are costing me thousands and thousands of dollars in equity In addition, when I login to my home it shows me as landlord, again having a negative impact on my beach condo EVERY other web site reflects the sale within a week or two of closing My frustration is that I have reached out to Zillow three times to try to correct and they have not responded at all I have asked them to correct the information to be accurate or remove my home and they simply will not respond I truly believe that their inaccurate information is adversely affecting the impact of my home financially
I am a real estate agent in New York City and have been advertising on Zillow's website for nearly two yearsThey were able to offer me a reduced introductory rate of $330/month to start advertising with themThe first year I had a positive experience and provided with good leadsAbout months ago or so, they called me and encouraged me to increase my monthly ad budget to $530, and then to $a few months after that, all the while suggesting that this is what I would have to do to get more leads and that I HAD to do this and increase my budget to 'keep up' with the competitionAfter increasing my budget to $and then $per month, the leads reduced and at times were 'zero' in an entire monthWhen I called them to complain and find out what was going on, they suggested that I should now increase my budget to over $to stay competitive and generate leadsFurther, more that 50% of the leads that ever came through were spam/scam from non-existent buyers with unregistered

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Well apparently Zillow removed the photos from the Trulia listing AFTER I filed this complaint and removed the agent description from the Zillow listing AFTER I filed this complaint
Their response makes it sound as if that had already been done prior to this complaint and that was not the caseThe photos from when our home was for sale appeared on the Trulia listing for about years before being removedThat is why I filed this complaint
Nevertheless, I have checked the pages myself and see that the photos have been removed from the Trulia listing and the agent description has been removed from the Zillow listing
However, I do NOT appreciate this response because I think it sounds misleadingThey make it sound as if these issues were taken care of before I filed this complaint
I would try to avoid Zillow at all costs in the future and am not interested in creating an account to edit these listings myself since I never posted them on the internet in the first place.Sincerely,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:Zillow addressed only one of my concerns, he location of the "pin" marking the location of my homeThis was an aside complaint to my primary issue with the company. My contact with zillow was in regard to their zestimate of my home which is for saleBottom line is there have been at least recent sales of similar properties all within a 1/mile of my homeThey have all sold for above millionMy home in fact has more bedrooms, more square footage and better ocean views which is a driving factor on the point in which we all liveIn fact I sold my backyard last year and a new house has been built and is now under agreement over millionA bother home has just gone on the market 1/a mile away and it has been listed at million. My "beef" with Zillow is that they do not use recent sales or other nearby listings of similar homes to compare my home toThey instead use homes nothing like mineObviously buyers are influenced by the Zillow zestimate. I contacted zillow with my questions and concerns and was told there is nothing a "human" can do to pick comps or mention recent sales in the areaInstead it is a computer algorithm that does the workWell from my end the computer is not doing its job and the company is and should be held responsible for its software. I cant believe the humans working at Zillow can hide behind a software algorithm. There is no doubt the selling of my house is being unfairly negatively impacted by this ZillowThis impact is hurting me financiallyPlease do all you can to make them correct the situation or shut them down as a menace to society. Most Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:You have sent the same automated response several times and I reject this excuse to violate my privacyYou violate privacy when you post private information regarding how much I spent and how much you feel the house is worth (which millions of people complain is completely inaccurate and drives down the price and final sales of their home)I do not want you to use my house for market comparison etc and do not give you my permission to do soPlease respect my privacy and remove my house from your data base and from the internet and your websiteIt is not for saleIt is private informationIt is personal informationThere are many other ways you could set up anonymous market comparisons without violating American citizens and exposing their financial informationI will pursue this until you remove me from your website or find a way to do anonymous market comparisons without violating people's rights to financial privacy..Otherwise the next company will start posting our bank statements online and find verbiage to defend their right to do so just as you have done.millions of people online complain you are wrongYou should listen!!!Sincerely,*** *

Below represents an issue of how Zillow, a publicly traded company valued at $billion based out of Seattle, secretly bills consumersHere are the facts, to which Zillow cannot disputeIn early Dec., I notified Zillow (as the parent company of Trulia.com) that Trulia billed me for $in unsolicited services, at a rate of $a month to my company debit cardThe billing issue began July I notified Zillow by phone that after I noticed this $charge, I logged into Trulia to locate the reason for said chargeA Zillow rep and then a manager (Chris S***) both said the billing for this service was visible on Trulia’s website under "account settings" tab under my log-inI sent them screenshots proving it was notIn other words, there was no way except for seeing the charge in my credit card statement for me to know I was being billed or to unsubscribe from what it called the Trulia Pro serviceBackstory: apparently, in June, when I placed a second advertisement online for
We had listed our home last September and took off the market beginning of November for the winterThe realtor at that time dropped the price down and we had no luck so we relisted our home with another agent and went on the market yesterday 5/16/My current realtors information overrode all prior information on all other realtor websites with the exception of ZillowThey have it listed that we've had the house on the market for 260+ days and that is incorrect they also have it showing that we had dropped the price down to 500,which my last realtor did a price range from 500,to 530,so Zillow is showing that the last time we had it on market it was listed at 500,and now we have it listed at 529,so it looks like we increased it by 30,that is wrongI've called and left at least six messages I actually found two individual names left them messages and I've emailed ZILLOW at least four times I have had no response from any of itI do not want this on their web
Zillow.com has listed my year old parents house for sale on their websiteIt has an aerial picture of their homeThey live in a very secluded area and they have already had someone show up there, I am very concerned for their safetyMy parents do not own a computer nor do they even know how to use oneI have contacted the company, someone from your office gave me their number and all I could reach was voicemail'sI have demanded for them to take it down immediately I am hoping you can help me with this serious privacy issueMy father is very upsetThe listing is *** *** *** *** *** My brother and I live over an hour away and cannot get to them everyday and I am afraid someone is gong to see the ad and see how secluded it is an bring harm to them so anything you can do to get this ad down will be greatly appreciatedI really do not want to contact my lawyer again but I will if they do not take it down
I am a real estate broker listed as an agent on Zillow Recently, someone created a fake profile to leave me a fake star review When I contacted Zillow to point this out, they refused to remove itThis is defamation of my name and characterThe review is up on their siteEvery day that it's there, people see it and my lowered rating scoreI have never met the reviewer in my life, nor do I know anyone by that name
