I reject the company's response because  they only offered to refund the unopened bars - how would I know how bad they taste if I didn't open them and try them?  They are essentially refusing a refund.  I also think it is dishonest of any company to delete negative feedback and reviews from their websites - consumers should be given a chance to make a fair determination based on public experience, not just company generated positive reviews.  For this reason, I was forced to post my review in other media outlets.

I ordered Paleo Bars from Julian Bakery. Took 3 weeks to ship them. When I finally opened up a bar to taste, and ate half of the bar, I then realized it was covered in mold. It had expired two months prior. If you do some searching online, you will find very similar complaints from others. Julian Bakery does not seem like a trustworthy company. They've been in trouble in the past for falsely advertising and not being truthful about ingredients. I learned my lesson with this company and will never use them again.

I mentioned several things, one being that they should offer a discount on the current order or for a future order; since it will have been *FIVE* weeks next Wednesday, when they propose to finally ship my order, some remuneration would seem appropriate. I am not trying to scam anyone; I have managed several businesses, and we would always try to make our customer happy and to encourage them to return. As of now, please continue processing my order as speedily as possible, given the small number of hours per day/ week you actually work on filling orders. Thank you.]
