Pitney Bowes Reviews (234)

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The sentence above was placed there automatically I sent the attached letter out this morning, certified, along with a check in the amount of $ [redacted] from [redacted] had asked me to contact Pitney Bowes and that he would attempt to as well I emailed him the information he requested on 5/6/Pitney Bowes nor Mr [redacted] were getting back to me to resolve this issue I contacted the [redacted] Depton my own and obtained the invoiced amounts from this account The charges were as follows: Aug 2013-$and Oct 2013-$31.91; the other charges were late feesThe check number of the check I sent was I felt I should not have to wait any longer My complaint is not about the fact that they sent me to collections or even about what I owed them I am more than happy to pay to my debtors what they are owed I filed the complaint for two reasons: they opened another account in my name with out inquiring or advising me, it was just done; and despite the fact that they say they mailed me correspondence (which I did not receive), why was I not notified of this account and that I had a balance when I closed the account in November of when I inquired if there was any monies owed This accounting practice is not efficient and it is not responsible Why open another account when an electronic payment does not go through, why not keep it a running balance, as most accounting measure are? I would like to see the termination of this practice If it does continue they need to make sure that their customer service people are aware of the possibility to go check this area of their accounting division POOR ACCOUNTING PRACTICES IS WHAT MY COMPLAINT IS ABOUT!! Sincerely, Catherine Frias

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did contact Pitney Bowes by responding to the email after they sent a "settlement" on 5/22/to me of $ [redacted] due 6/22/ I can send a copy of this letterI had no response besides bills with late chargesI then contacted [redacted] then the [redacted] which both advised me not to pay any further bills as Pitney Bowe's "lease" never had any dates from them to let me know that the "lease" was not actually up for another year when their "sales" person [redacted] duped me into signing this "lease" When I called in 2012, I did dispute the "lease" I signed to [redacted] at Pitney Bowes but was told there was nothing further I could do Why would they help me when they already had me "trapped" I do not agree that I owe another dime to this company I signed the month "lease" 8/1/and months later, I have fulfilled my obligation I have been advised by [redacted] and the [redacted] that printed "leases" without printed dates are illegal by any company Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The concerns in my complaint were not addressed I feel the reply is an attempt to loud talk via a type written reply Please stick to the facts The facts are I returned the equipment - it was delivered via [redacted] 12/7/at 10am - and requested that my account be closed & that a final invoice be sent so that I could pay it To date I have an invoice reflecting an amount due of fee's accruedThat is not legal The Bible says you rep what you sow (see [redacted] chapter verse - do the right thing A specific request was made and ignored and now this company Pitney Bowes wants me to pay for the months that I didn't even want service with them That is not legal anywhere This is a form of bullying in an effort to meet a sales quota. All I want is an invoice that reflects the date the equipment was received because that is proof that the account is no longer desired Please adjust the invoice and forward it via email, my email address is [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Most of what is stated in the response is incorrectThe first thing I noticed is posting a quote that said "Pitney Bowes will provide new a meter customer with a 50% credit on initial postage downloads, up to a maximum of $(excludes applicable taxes)." I did not even receive any sort of free postage at all, it is correct that I refilled my postage twice (but I did not get $free)You also stated "On different occasions the client called Pitney Bowes and PB explained the advantage of this months deal." Not once did I call in regarding any sort of contract or agreementThe only times I've ever called were to report hidden fees, billing errors, and recently, to cancelAlso mentioned, you claim I checked a box that said "I agree to the Terms & Conditions and confirm that I have the authority to enter into the transaction(s) on behalf of the company As per the terms and conditions of the deal the full months contract is binding." Once again, I never check a box that stated that, and it seems Pitney Bowes cannot provide proof I didHave a look at the file I submitted on my first message - it clearly shows a month-to-month rental (not lease) with absolutely no mention of any contract at allI will also add in again, that I am under years of age, which in my province means I cannot enter into a binding contract or agreementA simple contact to my lawyer and for that reason alone, I've got a winning caseI would like to resolve this peacefully without contacting my legal counsel but if that's what it takes to win this battle, I am certainly prepared to seek further assistance from my attorney Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am glad they were able to find the payment and that it is now applied against our old lease, but I am a little concerned about the date they have the lease terminating onTheir response show the lease terminated 3/18/The lease technically should have been terminated at the latest back on 6/22/when the check was receivedIf they cannot back date their system that is not a huge problem by me, but I would like written proof in the way of a letter that the lease is clear of any mistake charges and officially closedThe letter can be emailed in the form of a PDF attachment or something similar, but I would like something official to keep on fileNow I am kind of assuming the lease cannot be terminated if there is an open balance so the account is more than likely clear, but again I would like written proof of thisEspecially since they cannot provide the title to the destroyed meter If they can provide me with some sort of written proof that this has been cleared up we can close the complaint Sincerely, [redacted]

I have had the same experience as others here My lease is done, complete, finished I notified PB we would not be continuing our relationship and wanted the return address to send the equipment back No answer As others here, was stuck on the phone for extremely long periods of time waiting for a human to speak to Last Friday, I received an email attaching a $lease termination fee we are no longer in a lease so yea, that's not getting paid I still await a return label If we don't receive one by Friday, I'm mailing it back without one

[redacted] Complaint and Inquiry Consultant [redacted] [redacted] I am in receipt of [redacted] I had spoken with Julia Wallace and informed her that per the notes on the account under Pitney Bowes case number [redacted] the credit amount of $and $from the Rental Account has been transferred and successfully applied to her Purchase Power Account [redacted] This credit will be reflected in on her statement of the next monthI asked Julia if she had any other concerns; she had indicated to me that the hold time was high I educated her this is not typical; however, due to some recent system upgrades there is a much higher than hold time Moreover, due to the inconvenience for her time spent waiting on hold, I had informed her that I was applying $in free postage, courtesy of Pitney Bowes to her prepaid reserve account and is readily available for a download onto her meter My sincere apologies for the inconvenience Pitney Bowes strives to provide the best possible customer service Respectfully yours, [redacted] Office of the President
