As we have previously stated, we are currently in the process of having the customer's email suppressed so that no further emails are sentFurther, the email address of the customer was attached to a Rewards account that was createdThis is why the customer received receipts of purchases made in our storeThat email address has been removed as part of the aforementioned process

We have revisited the complaint based on the documentation that the customer providedThe charge shown cannot be matched to any order or transaction that we can recoverAs we previously recommended, we would advise that the customer reach out to their bank and dispute the chargeUnfortunately, we cannot pursue this further with the information we currently have

Staples apologizes for any inconvenience the customer has experiencedThe customer signed an intake form which does state that Staples is not responsible for data lossThe diagnostic and repair was not completed due to the computer not being able to connect to the internetThe customer has been refunded for the tech service repair, and was offered a gift card to cover part of the cost of a replacement hard driveThe customer's computer was not damaged while in Staples possession and does not warrant replacementThe offer of the gift card still stands
