  ...in the mail also. I submitted an online application giving my sensitive personal information and within seconds received a denial response. I have a good credit history and score, which is better now than when I received this pre-approval letter, so if they say the denial is based off not meeting their criteria I think is false. If you have good credit stay away from this SCAM. They just want your personal information. Believe all the other negative reviews saying this happened to them as well.

  STOP!!! Read the reviews!!! I should have checked this site before I called Best Egg. The fact that there are more negative reviews than positive reviews was a red flag. But, I was already on the phone and went through with the process to see on which side of the fence I would land. Welp, chalk up one more negative review from me. The rep was courteous when she announced I qualified for my $13,000 loan. (Oh, she could not approve me or give me the rate until she had my social security number...

  After receiving the loan offer from Best Egg on 1/10/2014 and reviewing the bad reviews on this site and others, I will not be applying for my pre-approved loan for up to $35,000. All consumers should be aware of this company and other mass mailing marketing companies that take your information you provide to them when filling out the application and share or sell your information to other companies. Ask yourself, "How did they get my info and know my credit rating"? This should alarm you.

  ...interest is what they offered and loan amount would only be 19,900. So how can u get the 5.9 interest rate? The last time I was offered a 24 percent interest rate was when I had no credit.   What SPECIFIC criteria and metrics would qualify an individual for the 5.99%? At this point I have not even approached the fence let alone sat on it. Based on the Revdex.com reviews I fully expect a Best Egg dodge phrase or axiom that does not answer the actual question but rather dances around it. Perhaps if Best Egg was more forthcoming their ratings would not be so bad. Dazzle me with diamonds Best Egg don't baffle me with bull shtuff.

  About to go for it... Although I am on here doing my research and a bit nervous after reading the reviews. I have already had two not great phone calls with best egg; one I pushed the wrong number and apparently they cant transfer so I had to hang up and recall and then again was told to 'try a different internet browser' rather than help me. But that's the system and the way customers get treated, its sad as a pediatric nurse, mother of two, masters student, with prior military service you still get no good from the world.

My husband and I decided to give it a try since their rates and payments were comparable or better than other well known lenders.   ...I will receive the money. Then I got worried after reading all the negative views and got scared I was scammed. So I called them back to confirm everything. I am happy to see they have a B+ rating, but could not understand why they had so many bad reviews. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. This really hurts a company and people who really needs a loan. If I would have read all these reviews in the beginning I would have not applied.   ...within 2 days the money was pending in my bank. My total interest rate is 17%. Not the low rate I was hoping for but far better than my credit cards. I opted for a 3 year repayment plan but have not yet made any payments. I read all the negative reviews on here and tried to cancel the loan. When I checked my bank it was too late because the money was already there. So far it was easy to pay off all those credit accounts. Now I have one payment that is somewhat smaller than what I was paying but more of the money is going to principal rather than interest.

  I have read the negative reviews. First the offer I received in the mail did not guarantee a 5.99% interest rate. It clearly says "Fixed APR: As Low as 5.99%". Further once I applied and was approved, I was given my truth in lending agreement in which it clearly told me what my interest rate was, what my APR was, my monthly payment and the total amount I would pay over the life of the loan.
