Review: I have placed an order with the Store 'Home In Style' located at [redacted]. The parquet that I ordered was: Dark Mat Brazilian Walnut. It was supposed to be a pre-finished very dark brown (almost black) best quality parquet. I have ordered 390 ft2 for the price of $6.25 per ft2. I have paid in cash before parquet was delivered to me. Total purchase price:$2500.When parquet was installed - it turned out to be 5 different types of wood and its quality. After the installation - my floor looks like an ugly cheap 5-color laminates , like multi-color checkers board - Instead of one solid dark brown color.On July [redacted], I have called the store as soon as I saw wrong parquet delivered and installed in my apartment demanding a correct parquet that I have purchased to be re delivered to my apartment ASAP and re-installed or a full reimbursement, but they have been ignoring my phone-calls, my daily visits to the store and my emails.Store is blaming the supplier, supplier is blaming the installer, installer is blaming the store. Its an endless look that I am trying to get out of!I have made a transaction with the store and want to have one of two options to be done by the store:1) a full reimbursement in the amount of $2,5002) A new correct parquet to be re-delivered to my apartment ASAP + the store also need cover the costs of bad parquet removal and new parquet installation ($1000).The store owners [redacted] and [redacted] are having a very nasty attitude and telling me to get lost and live with that parquet.I have paid for a parquet, which is:Dark Mat Brazilian WalnutBest qualityMost expensiveDark brown (almost black) one solid colorThey brought wood of a bad quality, different colors and cheaper prices (all the left-over that they had). Also, boxes with the wood parquet had 5 different labels (color-coding) on it. I called the store right away, before floor was installed asking why (all boxes should have had labels of the same kind - color) - the owner [redacted] told me that he does not know what it means and to relax since its is the same quality and color wood.Please help me to resolve that issue with the store. my name is [redacted], I am the president of L&I Home in style. Regarding a complaint #[redacted], I could explain only by facts which happened with this customer. She did order the exotic pre finished Brazilian floor, and she did received one, two weeks prior an installation.
As of a nature of all the wood it always could be some variations in the planks - known fact. This customer had this floor at her apartment for over two weeks and by law she is required to check what is she was getting in, also during the installation she was advised by an installer , that this floor has some variety. She said she is completely ok with it, just spread them all out evenly on the floor, that was her respond. It was another two weeks after installation when she was approached by her mother and she decided , that is not acceptable. I was contacted as a person who sold this product and as always I was trying to help my customer to deal with the problem, after I explained everything above. The customer was offered a new floor, but she refused it, demanding money, floor,and no matter what I will do she said, she will take us to court. At that point flooring company took all the offers back and told my customer to do what ever she would like to do.
