Review: The seller sold a commercial grade battery backup through ***. They claimed the item was new. When we received the box, I was not available to unpack. My associate open the box and found that the control unit on the front of the UPS was missing. We emailed through *** asking for a replacement control unit. ProSat stated "Then please contact the tech support at APC and they will send you the buttons or whatever is needed to make it whole, even the entire unit with Free shipping. Technical Support *** Business Hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm EST." I went onsite and pulled the entire UPS out of the box. We found an inventory label on the unit from Reverside County DPSS. We immediately asked for a return on 7/**. On 7/**, they said they would arrange to pickup the unit for return. On 8/**, after not receiving any kind of pickup instructions or actions, I opened a claim with ***. On 8/**, they had shipping arranged. They used ProVision (***) to pickup the device. I emailed ***'s claim system the tracking number. For your records, the Bill of Landing number is ***. On 8/**, I emailed ***'s claim asking when the refund would occur. On 8/**, I received a call from the seller saying they needed a copy of the BOL. The seller should have this information. I told the lady the company that picked up the unit and the BOL number. I told her I would send her a copy when I got back. On 8/**, I let *** and the seller know that I will be processing this through my credit card company. I am out of the office and do not have access to the information.Desired Settlement: We wish to have our money back and warn others about this company.
As seen in ***,

**. *** *** of ***-*** in Shreveport, LA , bought an item from us. Our seller, bought NEW items worldwide including from government entities. Our seller shipped him an unused, new item in its manufacturer's packaging. He claims there were buttons missing, which he minutes afterward concluded it was the manufacturer's quality control problem. We are the authorized dealer and since this is a NEW, UNUSED unit. We thus offered him a brand new, sealed unit shipped directly from the manufacturer to him at NO charge to him. **. *** refused.
We immediately, as well as other times, politely ensured him that we will give him a FULL refund including FULL original Shipping fee and FREE pickup.
We immediately attempts to arrange the pick up but **. ***, for about 2 weeks, “vanished” and failed to response to our numerous messages. On Aug ** when we were just able to make arrangement with someone else in his company, and after his prolonged silence, on Aug **, **. *** suddenly emailed us and we responded to him, right away, that the pick up is arranged for the following afternoon. On the same day, **. *** filed complaints against us which is absolutely UNNECESSARY.
On Aug **, we called **. *** for a copy of the pick up receipt so as to refund him RIGHT AWAY. We do NOT have such info, only our seller. When we asked for the BOL number (tracking info), we only received part of it, the first five, ***, instead of ***, and he hung up right away. **. *** also promised he will email us a copy the same day, as well as to ***. He never did.
Instead, the following morning, he emailed us that he would file complaints against us with Revdex.com and Attorneys General's office, and will do charge back with the credit card company, etc.. which is again absolutely UNNECESSARY.
On Aug **, *** demanded the tracking info from **. ***. On Aug **, *** provided us with the tracking info. On the same day, we refunded **. *** in FULL.
Then we receive his complaint with Revdex.com which is again UNNECESSARY.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service. We have tens of thousands satisfied customers.
We like to do business with people that don’t harass, threaten us, nor abuse their feedback power. We do not want to, and will NOT, do business with **. *** *** (of *** consulting, in *** **) again.
*** *** ***:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
This business is lieing. The business bought the item on eBay. I ordered the item from *** as a new item. I will be glad to get signed affidavits from my customer who got the call from the original shipper. The business claims to buy from government entities. Once the packaging has been opened, it is no longer a NEW device, but an opened. In this case, the device was tagged with a government inventory tracking label.
The seller did take the item back and gave a full refund. In reality, the case is resolved; however, I believe the Revdex.com should be aware that they are giving an A+ rating to a company that is commiting fraud.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
